The Ritz-Carlton’s 118-floor indoor pool offers another iconic spot to take a relaxing swim and admire stunning views of Victoria Harbour and its city skyline. Floor-to-ceiling windows let in light while floor-to-ceiling LCD screens show images of tropical fishes, bubbles, clouds and beach scenes to give an underwater effect – you can even opt for a day pass to use all facilities while earning Asia Miles during your visit!

As avid swimmers anticipated the new pools opening Thursday, some found comfort in knowing the less than ideal weather and rain showers would lower competition and draw in visitors more easily. Kennedy Town pool in particular was among the first to receive visitors with lines beginning to form outside at 6am!

To enter public swimming pools, visitors will need to purchase a monthly ticket either at the venue itself or from designated ticketing machines (HK$150 for adults, HK$9 for students and HK$49 for persons aged 60 or over). When entering, please present your ticket for inspection by staff before entering. Those without tickets will incur an entrance fee of HK$17 on weekdays and HK$19 during weekends and public holidays; there are 22 public swimming pools managed by Leisure and Cultural Services Department.
