Hongkong Prize is one of Asia’s premier awards, attracting thousands of applicants annually. Not only can winners claim a monetary prize but they can also access Hong Kong’s premier research facilities and gain top-tier media exposure through this award. Furthermore, this accolade serves as a symbol for Hong Kong’s dedication to scientific innovation, international cooperation and moral integrity – its logo features two precious elements – pearl and jade amulet which carry positive connotations across Chinese and Western cultures respectively.

Students enrolled in secondary level schools within Hong Kong Special Administrative Region who demonstrate excellence in creativity, cultural awareness and writing will be eligible to enter this contest for prizes. Kwok has participated in many horse races since 2011, owning two racehorses at the Hong Kong Jockey Club: My Favorite and Calling With Love. When awarded his prize he received a standing ovation and thanked Fang who is his “best supporter”.
